Borther, I agree with you 100% that Urdu should be given more importance and we should not consider English to be some sort of status symbol or an indication of competence. Also it would be better if we use Urdu script in writing however it is not practical all the time and it is good that we have the option to write Roman Urdu. Again giving the example of China, they developed Pinyin system which is Romanised script for making Chinese accessible. There is nothing wrong with that and gives an option to communicate.

Your strange logic that children are forced to learn English is very strange - Children are forced to go to school as well. There is no 'burden' of learning English infact there is a big incentive. As I stated earlier I would go to the extent of teaching only languages and maths to children in their first five years of schooling. You need good teachers (easier said than done) and learning becomes exciting and fun. Learning and acquiring knowledge is never a burden. If you think that way than your whole life will be a burden.

P.S: Just saw your last point and if you do not understand why we need English than I would just say Salam to you and humbly request you to try to come out of the well you are hiding /stuck in.

Parents should demand for good teachers who have the passion to teach and can inspire children to the joy of learning. If an MA pass cannot teach basic Angreji then we should close down these degree churning institutions and have few quality universities which can impart world class teaching and produce MA pass who are really MA pass and not nawaz shareef type third rate idiots.

بھائی آپ خوش رہیں ، ہمیں امید ہے کہ پاکستان کا مستقبل ایک دن انشاللہ روشن ہوگا اور نظام تعلیم بھی یکساں ، جدید و قدیم کا ہم آہنگ ہوگا اور سب سے بڑی بات اردو میں ہوگا جس میں تمام صوبائی زبانوں کو بھی حق دیا جائے گا اور انگریزی کے لازمی حثیت ختم ہوگی ، آپ ہر بات والدین پر بھی ڈال رہے ہیں ، بھائی والدین کا علم کتنا ہے ؟ آپ جانتے ہیں کہ پاکستان میں خواندگی کا تناست کتنا ہے ؟ انگ ریزی سکولوں میں جانے کا تناسب کتنا ہے اور اردو اداروں میں تناسب کتنا ہے ؟ انگ ریزی کے نتائج ہر سال کتنے فیصد ہیں ؟ پتہ نہیں ہمارے حکمران اور عوام کیوں احساس کمتری کا شکار ہیں ، قوم تو ہر چمکتی شے کے پیچھے دوڑتی ہے ------- آپ کو جو بار بار مثالیں دیتے ہیں ان کا کوئی فائدہ نہیں ، ہسپانیہ میں سات صدیاں مسلمانوں نے حکومت کی لیکن عربی زبان کو برداشت نہ کر سکے ، کبھی آپ برطانیہ کی مثال دیتے ہیں ، اسی طرح دیگر ممالک کی مثالیں بھی موجود ہیں ، پھر آپ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر استاد قابل نہیں تو ادارے بند کر دیں ، بھائی بنیادی بات وہ ہی ہے کہ نظام تعلیم فرسوده ہے ، طبقاتی ہے ، ایک قوم کی بجائے مختلف سوچ کے نسلیں پیدا کر رہا ہے، اگر آپ بیرون ملک ہیں تو آپ کو اندازہ ہوگا کہ جتنے دلائل آپ دیتے ہیں وہاں سب کچھ اس کا الٹ ہے ، کسی بھی قوم کا نظام تعلیم پاکستان جیسا نہیں ، یہاں تک کہ بھارت میں بھی انگریزی اس طرح حاوی نہیں جس طرح پاکستان میں ہے​
