Why not a city autonomy bills can be passed if Zardari Imran n Sharifs can unanimously passed the bill of Extension of Bajwa.

Turkish military is elitist, representing traditional ruling/landlord families. Read a bit before making useless comments and comparisons.
You may hate Pak military or not, but its top comes from (lower and middle) middle class and newly progressed families, and it generally represents their concerns.

Elected city governments are not enough. Without city managed/employed Courts and police ( with transparency and independent structure) city government cannot function well. We may demand what is required and functional - one day the citizens of Pakistan will achieve their rights.
I don't know of intentions, but a bill about extension and a law for a functional city government are entirely different matters.

No one, rural or urban, need and deserves Rashee politicians - there is no point to muddle the issue at hand by bringing an right or wrong irrelevant point.
All the cities, you listed, have provincial/state government which is utmost necessary due to economic and legal infrastructure and for the expansion/growth of mega cities .. so no use to muddle the issue at hand by an irrelevant point.

I fully agree with you that Karachi must have an elected and fairly independent governments along with locally managed, selected (and better elected) police and judiciary. Mega city such as Karachi will never achieve it progress potential until that is achieved. I expect PTI will go in the next election with a clear stance on this issue.
