His application for visa extension has been denied and he has the right to appeal. He can stay there until his appeal is heard or he has any other way to extend his stay.

6 months is max, even if you have a 10 year visa. However during COVID times Uk govt waived this requirement. But now, with lockdown completely lifted in UK, the requirement of 6 month has been reinstated - ie no more extensions and waiver

he would have had the option of going to France and coming back the same day - but pak govt did not renew his passport

he will Appel this decision , which will take a few months - then let’s see
