Haqiqi was indeed a bunch of criminals who were previously abandoned and asked to leave by Alltaf Hussain the leader of MQM because of their criminal activities. This is was the time, the establishment used and abused such criminal elements and tried to sabotage MQM by trying to create a split unsuccessfully.
The most pathetic of the scheme by the then establishment was the assassination of Altaf Hussains best comrade and Chairman of MQM, Dr.Azeem Ahmed Tariq in 1993. First when Haqiqi with intelligence agencies were cleverly used to assassinate Dr.Azeem Ahmed Tariq, Chairman of MQM and then the establishment used Haqaqi to hijack the funeral of Dr.Azeem Ahmed Tariq where army trucks and rangers vehicles were used to hijack the funeral proceedings of the slain chairman of MQM via Haqiqi men. Even closest relatives of the late, Azim Ahmed Tariq were shot at by Haqiqi and Rangers.
Its interesting to note that the last press conference which the chairman of MQM, Dr. Azeem Ahmed Tariq gave actually was a plea to the establishment to stop her dirty tactics. He also mentioned about the constant pressure from the establishment to force him to join Haqiqi which he considered treason.
Its interesting to note that only recently two armed terrorists who were actually caught in to bid to assassinate Mr.Qureshi a leader of JASQAM turned out to be Haqiqi men who processed IDs of an intelligence agency.
Haqiqi during the years tried to establish herself as a political entity but miserably failed due to the lack of support and finally is in a stage of split herself where Afaq Ahmed and Amir Khan the creators of Haqiqi fighting each other for more and more control.

میں یا کوئی بھی جب کسی فورم پر تبصرہ کرتا ہے تو اپنا احترام بڑھانے کے لیے نہیں بلکہ اپنی راے کو حق سمجھتا ہے اور لکھتا ہے کیونکہ اسکا اپنا تبصرہ اسکے لیے صحیح ہی ہوتا ہے - جس طرح تم نے ابھی احتجاج کیا ہے ہمارے موقف پر. کیونکہ تم خود کو صحیح اور ہمیں غلط سمجھتی ہو جسمیں میں نہیں سمجھتا کہ مجھے کوئی اعتراض ہے

Just now for the first time I listened to Mirza uttering words 'bhookey and nungey' about mohajir.
our Pakis are very and unnecessarily sensitive plus media coax them and makes big deal out of it.
When our fathers came from India to various parts of Pakistan, they DID COME bhookey and nangey. Granted its a bit insulting words but nonetheless its the truth.
My father along with my grand mother and some other 75 family and kin folks, from both sides arrive in East Pakistan BILKUL BHOOKEY after riding bull carts, outdated trains, walking across the borders nungey feet, feared and scared that they could be killed any time either by Hindus, or by wild animals in the dark, or the poor reptiles that almost got stepped upon by the walkers.
From bottom of mu heart: I am a Mohajir myself. And I truly, sincerely, and honestly don't see why would the Mohajirs be offended. Mirza said the truth, thats way our parents did come.
I believe his statements are just being taken as an excuse for fitna fasad and murders, a sign of qyamah around the corner.

I am sure there has to be reason why Ishrat-ul-ibaad fled to London without wasting time after resigning. Whats the real reason for his hasty exodus is only known to Allah and himself. But to me and to million others does sound pretty suspicious.
However words used by Mirza, even if its true in his eyes, were wrongly uttered w/o realizing the sensitivity of our people and the impact of his statements specially that terrorists are just waiting for excuses to cause harm to people.
Conclusion: As a Mohajir, I totally agree with Mirza that we (our parents) did come bhookey and nangey. there is no doubt about that.
As a Pakistani, I agree with him that AH is just as bad as Afaq but also condemn him for using inappropriate words at a sensitive time. but nonetheless I dont see him lying, but yes he was not prudent...
