12 مئی 2007 کے واقعے کے بعد خان صاحب الطاف حسین کی بربریت کے خلاف میدان میں نکل آئے. جونہی انہوں نے الطاف کے خلاف پریس کانفرنس کی، کراچی میں وال چاکنگ شروع ہوگئی جس میں خان صاحب اور ان کی فیملی کو غلیظ گالیاں دی گئیں. یہ مہم اتنی جارحانہ تهی کہ مشرف جیسے کو بهی اس کی مذمت کرنا پڑگئی. لیکن اس سے یہ ثابت ہوگیا تها کہ ایم کیو ایم کسی کو اپنے لیڈر کے خلاف بولنے کی اجازت نہیں دے سکتی.
پهر زرداری دور میں ایک دن چوہدری نثار نے الطاف کے خلاف کوئی سخت بیان دے ڈالا اور 5 منٹ کے بعد ہی ...ایم کیو ایم کے لیڈروں نے لائیو پریس کانفرنس میں نثار اور شریف فیملی کی عورتوں کو ننگی گالیاں دے دیں اور یہاں تک کہہ دیا کہ پنجاب کے گهر گهر میں مجرا ہوتا هے.
گستاخانہ خاکوں سے متعلق ایم کیو ایم کا موقف سامنے ہے ہڑتال تو کیا رسمی مذمت کی بجاۓ الٹا ان مجاہدین کیخلاف بیان دیتے ہوۓ خود گستاخوں سے ہمدردی کرتے رہے .
یعنی وہ ایم کیو ایم جو الطاف بهائی کی شان میں تو کوئی گستاخی برداشت نہیں کرتی، اسے نبی پاک صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی شان میں گستاخی سے کوئی فرق نہیں پڑتا !
یہ یقینی طور پر لمحہ فکریہ ہے اس اردو بولنے والی قوم کے لیے جن میں چند ایک کو چھوڑ کر اکثریت کسی نہ کسی درجے میں ایم کیو ایم اور الطاف حسین کی حمایت کرتی ہے.
