Recommended Books
I highly recommend forumers to read following Islamic books besides the most Perfect Holy Quran:
Road To Makkah (Muhammad Asad)
This book is written by a revert to Islam. Muhammad Asad was initially a Jew hailing from Austria. It is a travelogue of his journey to Makkah by road but in parallel narrates really interesting stories about middle east, Islam and his conversion. Really good book.
Ar Raheeq Al Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar, Seerat of the Prophet)
This is one of the best biographies of our Beloved Prophet (PBUH).
Questions & Answers about Faith (Fatehullah Gullen)
This is a book written by the famous Turkish Scholar on questions that most people may have about faith but are afraid to ask? The answers are really logical and informative. Worth sharing this book with your Non Muslim friends who might be interested in Islam.
The Life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by Muhammad Haykal
This is also one of the best biographies of our Beloved Prophet (PBUH). It is written by Muhammad Haykal in 1920's and was subsequently translated by Raja Farooq. I managed to get my hands on the forth edition which couldn't be completed due to his murder at his home in US. However, this book is worth a read as it is an answer to orientalists and is full of logic. Also, quite insightful stories of Prophet (PBUH)'s life.
There are more that I can mention but happy for others to share some good books too.
