Srinagar, In occupied Kashmir, the participants in the final match of football tournament shouted anti-India and pro-freedom slogans at a stadium in Srinagar.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the final match of the tournament2011, organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Police was played between JK Forest-XI and Punjab Police of India at the Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar. The puppet Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was chief guest on the occasion. Everyone at the stadium was taken aback when the supporters and participants of JK Forest-XI shouted slogans in favour of Azadi, a spectator told media men. The spectators shouted anti-India slogans perhaps because they saw the game as a contest between India and Kashmir, said another spectator. In a thrilling match, Jammu and Kashmir Forest-XI beat the Punjab Police by a solitary goal.
