اسلام آباد (مانیٹرنگ ڈیسک) صدر مملکت آصف علی زرداری نے تارکین وطن کو ووٹ کے حق سے متعلق انتخابی ترمیمی آرڈیننس 2013ءپر دستخط کر دیئے ہیں جس کے تحت سمندر پار پاکستانیوں کو ووٹ کی اجازت مل گئی ہے۔ دنیا نیوز کے مطابق اوورسیز پاکستانیوں کو ووٹ کے حق سے متعلق انتخابی قانون ترمیمی آرڈیننس 2013ءجاری کر دیا ہے جس کے تحت اوورسیز پاکستانیوں کو ووٹ کی اجازت ملی گئی ہے۔ یہ منظوری نگران وزیراعظم میر ہزار خان کھوسو کی ایڈوائس پر دی گئی ہے۔ آرڈیننس کے مطابق پولنگ سے 10 دن پہلے بیرون ملک پاکستانی وں کو سفارتخانے میں ووٹ رجسٹرڈ کرانا ہوں گے۔ آرڈیننس کا اطلاق اس وقت ہو گا جب الیکشن کمیشن نے اسے باقاعدہ اپنے گزٹ کا حصہ بنائے گا۔ اس سے قبل الیکشن کمیشن کا کہنا تھا کہ ملکی حالات کے باعث حالیہ انتخابات میں اوورسیز پاکستانیوں کو ووٹ کی اجازت نہیں دی جا سکتی تاہم سپریم کورٹ نے بار بار ہدایت کی کہ اوورسیز پاکستانیوں کو ووٹ کی سہولت سے متعلق اقدامات کئے جائیں۔

ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has finally facilitated the overseas Pakistanis with the opportunity of casting vote on 11 May, AAJ NEWS reported.

According to the sources, Prime Minister Hazar Khan Khoso sent an advice to President Asif Ali Zardari regarding facilitating the overseas Pakistanis with the right of vote which Asif Ali Zardari accepted.
President signed the Electoral laws (Amendment) Ordinance 2013 due which Pakistanis living abroad can cast their vote in general elections 2013.
