Another reason, and the most probable one, for ban on social media till 4:00 PM is that today is Friday and government fears that TLP goons might stage protests after Juma ( Friday) prayer against the ban on their party. Since, TLP uses social media to spread venom and to gather mobs at short notice, so government has shut down social media till 4:00 PM. TLP will try to use those people for protest who come to offer Juma prayer in Brelvi masjids.

This is the same kind of measure that is taken on 10th Muharram in order to maintain law n order.

TLP activists will have no option to communicate but regular phone service. Govt agencies will track all data during these hours and will start rounding up TLP workers based on this data. I expect a lot of underground TLP goons uncovered and rounded up in the coming few days.
