Re: Quaid-e-Azam Aur Allama Iqbal Ka Nazria Pakistan - Dr. Israr Ahmed
Dear Unicorn, going for peace, progress and prosperity needs much more than rocket science because it involves a lot more information of all sorts and its proper understanding. Evolutionary process is already their and we are inventing and doing things that we see as our needs for the moment but we do not have wider and deeper insight that is why we are not into things for long term objectives.
The learning we call education is only professional not at all based upon good moral foundation because we are not aware of that nor do we want to find out to be mentally secure in our goals and ways and means to achieve them. Without that we cannot motivate people constantly that is why we end up lost in the middle of things or a lot many do not even bother do anything. As a result a lot of time is lost in fighting over baseless things which become obstacle in the way of our peace, progress and prosperity.
In other words we do all we do half hearted because we are not satisfied with the way things are in our world. People who are motivated by the world the way things are are very few and far between but masses live in fear of poverty and fall into depression when pressure builds up and plus feeling of confusion and guilt. All kinds of factors affect people who stand upon nothing to do any thing.
In other words no matter how strong you may feel you are but if you are standing upon a slippery slope you only need a little push to fall into abyss.
As for my pointing out of certain people, it is only for certain points not for blanket following.
For example, sir syed took the ideas about miracles and magic as nonsense. So far none has been able to prove he was wrong though he was condemned by mullahs.
iqbal took mullahs by surprise by telling them islam is den not mazhab and so far mullahs condemned him but were not able to prove him wrong.
He further condemned the idea that islam has any permanent set of shariah laws. He took laws made by mullahs on behest of kings as against islam. Again he is condemned for doing that by mullahs but no proof exists against what he said.
As for your claim that iqbal was confused. Tell me if you were not a confused person yourself after your birth. All of us are born with minds clean like a slate. However it is our environment that writes stuff on our minds and then as we keep growing we keep readjusting our mindsets and attitudes till we find a more and more and more comfortable positions with which we are relatively ok. Some of get their others die confused. After all life is a struggle for existence and if possible peaceful, progressive and prosperous.
Our minds go through loads of emotions throughout our lives due to varying degree of various experiences and so we cannot rely totally on what others tell us 100% rather we look for what makes our own life worth living. Some like living for others but some rather take undue advantage of others.
This is why it depends what you have learned and why and where that has led you in life and whether it is worth it or not. Like each of us iqbal went through various phases of life and he said and did things, some in his confusion and others with clarity of mind. So we should take what works and leave what leads to confusion. However it is up to ourselves to look for things that make our world a better place. That is where in comes islam and quran and I have tried to explain islam in light of the quran and self evident realities. This does not mean I made no mistake in doing that but anyone who wants to benefit must pick and choose on the basis of what works and use and leave the rest alone till it makes better sense or that it may well be wrong at the end of the day.
The idea is that each of us can only begin from where we are but we must try and see where others are and whether it is worth that we too should join them. This is why we must look at each others goals, terms and conditions under which the goals are to be achieved and rights and responsibilities as guidelines for rules and the rules that are needed for regulating things for the goals. If all things fit together fine then staying away from such a thing is not the right place for us. Why? Because it is anti social and anti humanity. In that case one needs to be barred or isolated from causing harm or destruction to humanity.
That is how the quranic terminology of islam and kufar becomes understandable. That is what state of pakistan ought to be that iqbal desired and jinnah founded and advised. Islam is not enemy of humanity so how could the country that was created in the name of islam? Unfortunately, masses in this country have forgotten both islam and humanity. It is not going to be long before the whole world plunges into darkness unless they move towards proper islamic values. This is why experts need to study text of the quran in its own context in light of what it is talkking about and see what it offers for humanity that nothing else does.
If you want to debate issue of jinns you can start a thread and I will try to explain it to see what it really means. Don't tell me you believe in some hidden creatures with supernatural powers. Otherwise you can look up in my posts I have explained the issue in various posts already.
I expect you and the rest of people here to help educate each other out of all sorts of nonsense. That will help each of us move the world towards better future.
regards and all the best.
