According to the recent human development report, Pakistan is in the 136th position in the whole world. On the basis of education because there are just 49.9% educated people in Pakistan. According to UNESCO, the people who have completed the primary level of education in Pakistan are 33.8% in females and 47.18% in males. All these reports show, people of the 6th largest country, according to the population, are unable to get even the primary education. There are many challenges behind all of this that why education-wise Pakistan's rank is too low. Some of them are as follows:

1. Different mediums of education:

The education system in Pakistan is divided into two mediums English and Urdu. There is a vast difference in standards of education in the private and public sectors. It makes a kind of divergence among people, isolating them into two divisions.

2. Regional Breach:

The regional breach is a major challenge in the education sector. Baluchistan is over the largest province by area, but its schools are well-organized accept big cities of Baluchistan. If we talk about FATA, the literacy rate is too low as compared to other regions of the country. There is just 29.5% of male, and 3% of the female population is educated,

3. Gender Discrimination:

The gender segregation is a reason which is anticipating the elementary school proportion of boys and girls, which is 10:4, respectively. Throughout the previous hardly any years, there has been an expansion in private schools. That damages the quality of education but also creates a gap between the education standard.

4. Lack of advanced educational technology:

The entire world is using modern educational technology gadgets such as an online school management system to run their schools in a more efficient way. Most of the Pakistani schools are still using the traditional method of a school management system, which is based on paperwork. So, it is a tough challenge to convert all schools into digital schools.

5. Lack of fund:

The education budget in Pakistan is too low. It is just 1.5% to 2% of the total budget that is too low as compare to other countries of the world.

6. Inexperienced teachers:

The tutors in government schools are not well trained in teaching. People who are unable to get a job in another sector attempt to get jobs in the teaching sector. They don't have experience in teaching. So they can't make the future a country through education.

7. Poverty:

Poverty is another challenge against education in Pakistan. It limits the guardians to send their kids to private or government schools.
Recently, the minister of instruction declared another Education strategy for the next 10 years. Interestingly, the previous educational policy from 1998 to 2010 is not yet terminated. He said in this strategy that all the government-funded schools would be raised to the level of private schools. But education for poor people should be totally free. They should not be required to spend even a single rupee.
