Egyptian man declares himself the Mahdi during prayers at Kaba

MAKKAH: Muslim faithful who had come to perform Asr prayer at the Grand Mosque in Makkah were shocked when a man snatched the microphone and declared he was the Mahdi, the prophesied redeemer of Islam who is expected to come prior to the Day of Resurrection.

According to eyewitnesses, the imam has just started the prayer when the man grabbed the microphone and made his announcement. Security officers inside the mosque quickly arrested the man, who was said to be an Egyptian national in his 30s.

Security officers took the man to the police station at the mosques premises for investigation.

Police deduced that the man was suffering from mental problems.

The Mahdi :Allaih: will not proclaim.... he will be identified by others as him... and even the political scenario (which might not be far away) is mentioned clearly in Ahadith of the Prophet pbuh ...

Dear sarbakaf, there is no tom, dick and harry, each person is individual and important in his/her own way. What is important is learning and exchanging information so that ultimately humanity converges at some point that is acceptable to all.

As I see it progress of humanity is inevitable so it will happen we like it or not. It is therefore better to be on the right side of line for the good of oneself and others.

Whoever can come up with more convincing ideas will win the day in the end.

Knowledge is properly of true believer in the truth so wherever it comes from it is welcomed. There are lots of things we can learn from various groups including ahmedies. We have learned quite a lot from jews and christians and hindus etc.

We human beings are children of same parents and all of us have been contributing to bank of knowledge always. However one free to put it together anyway it suits one's own good or bad purpose.
