Facebook is spying on us?

Facebook spying on us?
There is no doubt that the technological developments in the communication arena has posed more challenges than it solved, and privacy of individuals is now at risk of being breached legally by the social media companies.
A recent report which says Facebook is using smartphones to listen to what people say, is generating a lot of debate among the users and this is the second time in the last couple of months that the social media giant has come under criticism for its off-screen manipulation of information delivery to its users and their data.

Watch here what an IT Expert have to say on this

The latest controversy which engulfed the Facebook is that the company is listening to us all the time via the microphone and that is too with our permission. While installing the app we allow it to access many of the phone features including contacts, camera, microphone and much more. While we ourselves are permitting the mobile apps to use the data and features of our phones then theres no blaming on the company but using these to spy on us or selling the user analystics to third parties is a crime the company may be committing.
Rather than venting anger on the tech giant, we must also need to be aware of what are the conditions we are agreeing to and change the privacy settings of every app. This is the only viable option that we have.
