ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet today approved the bill allowing dual nationals to become member assemblies, Geo News reported.The bill will next be brought before the National Assembly for approval.The Supreme Court (SC) is seized with a case against the lawmakers having dual nationalities and has suspended several legislators including Rehman Malik and Farahnaz Isphanai.On Wednesday (July 04), the apex court suspended membership of two MQM lawmakers, MNA Farhat Muhammad Khan and MPA Nadia Gabol for having dual nationalities.During the federal cabinet session, approval was also given for the draft of the constitutional bill pertaining to contempt of court.
