The Atlas of Creation (or, in Turkish, Yarat?l?? Atlas?) is a series of three books, written by Adnan Oktar under the pen name Harun Yahya. Oktar published volume 1 of The Atlas of Creation with Global Publishing, Istanbul, Turkey in October 2006.[SUP][1][/SUP] Volumes 2 and 3 followed in 2007. The book argues that life forms on Earth have never undergone even the slightest change and have never developed into one another. The book shows pictures of million-year-old fossils, and pictures of modern-day animals which are claimed to be their modern day equivalent. Thus, the book suggests that living things are exactly the same today as they were hundreds of millions of years ago-in other words, that they never underwent evolution, but were created by God.
