2008 polls were delayed because of murder benazir bhutto.When pti was in power it was decided in CCI meeting to hold next general polls on basis of a new census and delimitations,something which has not happened yet.Constitution of Pakistansays nothing about delaying elections because of financial difficulties. Courts cannot do anything here

That delay was only weeks, not months as PDM govt / establishment is demanding. Even that delay should have been challenged in the Supreme Court…

Its never easy to implement every conditon of IMF and PTI didnt wanted to lose more support so went slow on imf terms.

That’s true. And they are also paying heavy price for it. Pakistan army is the most hated govt department now since they removed Imran govt.
Don’t know, haven’t read the full constitution, but if you understand the difference between the word shall and may, it’s pretty clear in my opinion
