راولپنڈی: ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر میجر جنرل بابر افتخار نے کہا ہے کہ قومی سلامتی کمیٹی کے اعلامیہ میں کسی سازش کا ذکر نہیں، عوام اور سیاسی پارٹیوں سے درخواست ہے کہ فوج کو سیاست میں مت گھسیٹیں۔

پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی آر) کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل (ڈی جی) میجر جنرل بابر افتخار نے پریس کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پاکستان کی سرحدی صورتحال مستحکم ہے۔ عوام کی حمایت مسلح افواج کی طاقت کا منبع ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ آخری دہشت گرد کے خاتمے تک جاری رہے گی جبکہ پاکستان کے خلاف کسی بھی سازش کو کامیاب ہونے نہیں دے گے۔ تعمیر تنقید مناسب ہے لیکن بے بنیاد کردار کشی کرنا کسی بھی صورت قابل قبول نہیں ہے۔
میجر جنرل بابر افتخار نے کہا کہ بلوچستان میں دہشت گردوں نے امن و امان کو خراب کرنے کی کوشش کی گئی ہے۔ رواں سال کے پہلے 3 ماہ میں 128 دہشت گردوں کو مارا گیا اور 270 دہشت گردوں کو گرفتار کیا گیا۔ پاکستان کی مسلح افواج کسی بھی قسم کی صورتحال کے لیے مکمل تیار ہے۔

انہوں نے امریکی مراسلے پر بات کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ وزیر اعظم آفس کی جانب سے عسکری قیادت سے رابطہ کیا گیا تھا اور پاک فوج نے خط کے معاملے پر اپنا مؤقف قومی سلامتی میں پیش کیا تھا۔ قومی سلامتی کا اعلامیہ دھیان سے دیکھیں کیا اس میں سازش کا کوئی لفظ ہے ؟ میرے خیال سے اس میں سازش کا کوئی لفظ نہیں ہے۔
