MQM alleges ANP of torturing MPA
MQM alleged that ANP was involved in kidnapping and torturing of MPA Aleem-ur-Rehman.
Holding an emergency press conference in Karachi press club, MQM Sindh Assembly members said that armed people of ANP kidnapped Aleem-ur-Rehman and tortured him in Purani Sabzi Mandi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.
Aleem was released with the help of local SHO. The MQM members said that the citizens of Karachi could stand up if these acts were not stopped.
On the other hand, ANP turned the allegation of kidnapping as a false accusation and stated that MQM wanted to sabotage the peace of the city.

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has said that terrorists of land and drug mafias are bent upon destroying peace of Karachi.
Addressing a news conference today (Tuesday), MQMs Coordination Committee members said that citizens of Karachi were being robbed, while armed militants were roaming free in the city.
He said that MQMs MPA Aleem-ur-Rehman was kidnapped by activists of a party. They kept Rehman in illegal detention and subjected him to torture.
They said that a case has been lodged against the kidnapping of MPA.
They warned that peoples patience must not be misconstrued as weakness. SAMAA
