[h=3]The CIA falsely claims a Muslim “terrorist” organization has claimed responsibility for the Oslo, Norway bombings and the corporate media is printing their lies.[/h] All major news outlets ran a report from a CIA analyst claiming a Muslim terrorist group took credit for the Oslo Norway bombings, which
the corporate media is trying so desperately to blame on Al-Qaeda.
Even though
it would make no sense for Muslims to attack Norway, who is their ally.
Regardless of the absurdity of the claim, the CIA has falsely stated that a Muslim Jihad group has accepted responsibility for the attacks Norway bombings and not the corporate media is running their lies.

7.11pm: The New York Times has more on the claim of responsibility by an Islamist group (thanks to Marta Hernandez Salvan for passing this on):
A terror group, Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami (the Helpers of the Global Jihad), issued a statement claiming responsibility for the attack, according to Will McCants, a terrorism analyst at CNA, a research institute that studies terrorism. The message said the attack was a response to Norwegian forces’ presence in Afghanistan and to unspecified insults to the Prophet Muhammad. “We have warned since the Stockholm raid of more operations,” the group said, apparently referred to a bombing in Sweden in December 2010, according to Mr McCants’ translation. “What you see is only the beginning, and there is more to come.” The claim could not be confirmed.
The report is making its way around all the corporate news sites.
The New York Times still has their article up which adds:
Norway is a member of the NATO alliance and has a small fighting contingent in Afghanistan. It was one of several countries named by Ayman al-Zawahri, the leader of Al Qaeda, as potential targets for attack. In 2006, Norwegian newspapers reprinted Danish cartoons that angered Muslims by lampooning Muhammad. Norway has also historically been a frequent participant in peacekeeping missions and a host for diplomatic talks, including the 1993 Oslo Accords between Israel and the Palestinians. The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by a committee of the Norwegian Parliament.

I call the story a bull **** lie because here is what the “terrorist” group actually wrote which the CIA has sensationlized into reading as an admission of guilt:

While the statement gives reasons the attacks could have been made, this is by no means an acceptance of responsibility by the group.
Just more bullshit lies from our government.
To be clear, here is the true version of what the group actually said as clearly shown in the translation above and as reported on Norway TV and as
reported by The Wall Street Journal.
Norway TV reported that a group called Helpers of the Global Jihad said “This is just the beginning of what will come,” though the TV station said it’s unclear that the group has taken responsibility.

Since the thread is now inaccessible (either locked or taken down), I am posting it here. I don’t have time at the moment to translate the whole thing but I translated the most important bits on

Update: Abu Sulayman has now issued a retraction, stating clearly that “Helpers” was not involved in the operation and that his statement was not an official statement. He says those who carried out the attacks “must surely be known to all.”

The NY Times fails to mention the fact that the CIA has duped them and analyst they quoted never even provided a full translation. Instead they keep their baseless original CIA lie in their article and blame the redaction on reports on Norwegian television.
