Yes, it is really a bad thing but it happens when military dictators break the constitution, show people that they are above the laws of the land and are not accountable for any of their deeds. When these dictators amend the constitution (supposedly the most sacrosanct thing in a state) trampling all the norms of democracy and society by imposing the will of one man. It has been done by the dictators of all stripes - Ayub or Zia or Musharraf. We were kind of okay until these military dictators started to take over the country and wreak havoc on the nation and its people by ruining its institution and any sense of accountability.
