Everyone was on the mantra, "revenge through vote". You voted peacefully, what is the result!!
Did anything changed!! Did the criminals resisted from their crimes!! Nope.
Despite all the agitations after 2013 elections, demands to open up 4 constituencies, nothing came out of it. Because Pakistan has no rule of Law and people have no recourse.
Then again in 2018 RTS stopped and Khawaja Asif, Rana likes were made to win, when actually they lost the elections. The Corrupt Pakistan media created a fake and false narrative that 2018 was to help PTI. When as a matter of fact PTI was stopped from getting simple majority so they don't have to rely on any other party.
This my friends is a hattrick of election rigging. Why you all are surprised!! Did you honestly thought, all those efforts to keep Imran Khan and PTI out of the elections were for a simple purpose to let them win at the polls!
The criminals were determined to stop PTI the 3rd times by hook or crook. They also know that in Pakistan they would get away with it over and over again without any consequences to them.
Are they wrong!! Nope. You are nothing more than worthless sheep. Grow some balls and stand up against the tyranny. You have adopted peaceful democratic means in last 3 elections. How long before you wise up!!

Bangladesh is certainly doing a lot better now. they had advantage of geographic distance which made it easier for them to carve out a separate identity soon. in current day Pakistan, KP & Balochistan are in similar kind of situation & a civil war scenario will certainly send these regions to a tailspin.

I totally agree with you. even they strongly resisted electronic voting system suggested by IK to eliminate rigging in elections. that would have spelled the end of the political engineering. at times i also feel that there is no other option apart from armed resistance but i am not overly convinced that it will solve the problem infact it may add to more problems.

You are also forgetting one thing that no one alone can detter these generals to stay within their domain. I have written that how these generals were provided space to interfere in civilian matters for last 4 years of PTI rule.
May 9th, combined with PTI constant non negotiating policy have caused them to be alone in that moment.
As far as PMLN is concerned, they will also need to check their decision in regard to staying separated from army generals. They have been doing it for a long time and have been punished many times for going against establishment.

I am with you here. Punjab finally waking up has been the main difference here. they knew they could supress people in Punjab hence they took their chances & have been successful but they won't be able to sustain it for too long.

Remember Musharraf and his trial ? How many political leaders helped PMLN during that time when ISI assisting Musharraf scape the courts? Don't take me wrong, PMLN has its own problems and some of them are hereditary.

The truth of the matter is that PTI and its leadership embolden the generals so much during their 4 years of regimes, so much space has been given to them that they have no leverage to stand against them anywhere.
The incident of May 9th provided an opportunity for the army generals to further strengthen their hold on the civilian administration. The PTI leader's perpetual stubbornness of not negotiating with any of his opponents during his 4 years of power made it almost impossible to find any way forward for a political solution to stop the army advancements in civilian affairs.

The onus is on PTI leadership to call all political parties' leadership for a national dialogue to set the direction of the country according to its Constitution.

Why doesn't NS use his power sack Munir and the Generals, it's something the PTI would be on board with,then hold free elections and let the winner rule with a functioning opposition. Nooras could have SHA as a leader and NS could fuck off back to London doing Romance with Shitty on the Thames.

The real political leaders always talk and never close their doors for negotiation even in adverse situations. Bhutto had to negotiate release of 93 thousands of Pakistani soldiers from Indian prison when he had no advantage of war victory, and he was sitting on the opposite table with war victors. Yet, he still managed to get all prisoners out without placing any of them on war crimes as Indira Ghandi wanted.
IK right from the start never took any interest in Parliament. he was having his work done by Army generals and he was comfortable in his position, and thus he found Parliament useless. Even when he had to pass any bill, all he had to do is call the ISI and army general and he would provide the enough votes for him to pass that legislation. This is according to his own words.

No one wants to fight with their own army. We have witnessed that not a single person went out to protect IK when they sent him in prison.
It was difficult earlier; it has become even more hard to get the power back from the army. There won't be any fighting because no one wants to see the country turns in to the countries like Iraq and Sudan.

But the last 2 years have shown IK to be absolutely right. He told us that the mafia would come together and they did, that they didn't have a democratic bone in their body and were just businesses and that was also true. Based on these facts, and the destruction of the last 2 years in particular, what good can be said for them. We know after yesterday and today that NS was part of the plan to kill Arshad Sharif, there is no way he didn't know. So tell us how you can describe these thugs

It's not hard but not in their interest. NS could send secret message to IK and AZ that that they will bring forward a constitutional amendment that no army chief can get an extension. But he won't. You can enjoy playing God, but unlike Allah, human beings see pixels and not the picture. NS and AZ have betrayed PK

Javed Hashmi was given ample respect and dignity within party for his sacrifices. He left the party of his own and joined PTI. Can you care to tell me how they treated him at the end? Wasn't he warning IK of the impending dictatorial attitude within PTI which he felt IK was under the influence? Do you remember how PTI trolls used to call him and what names they gave him ? Remember it.

They won the elections and the only way to take their legit rule is to take oath from the president which at time was approved by the compromised SC of Pakistan.

He was all for boycotting the election till Benazir advised him not to do that and allow undemocratic forces to plague the Parliament, which at the end proved beneficial for whole Pakistan and they force the Musharraf to quit and resign.

Iam not sure where you going with this? My point was clear that when he brought Musharraf under justice, none of the political leaders of other parties assisted him instead of they criticize him. And for IK, He sent his AG to defend the Musharraf conviction when Judge Waqar convicted him and ordered him to hang 100 times.
So, don't forget that IK is not that innocent what you are trying to make of him.
