Your top 5 Bollywood movies.

Most here know that I often attack today's Bollywood movies for being cheap whilst their stars are goray wannabe's:lol: However, Bharat has made many brilliant Movies that I still very much enjoy watching from the 1970's to mid 1980's period. Share your favourite top 5 here!

1) Sholay. The all time classic from the mid 1970's telling the story of Thakur Baldev Singh hiring two crook's to avenge his family's murder from the legendary Gabbar Singh. By the way I just found Thakur's lost arms!!![hilar][hilar] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdS_8xU1Btc

2) Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. The kid's from two rival families fall in love leading to a tragic but refreshing climax. Great songs by the way.

3) Deewar. Two brother's on opposites sides of the law with Amitabh Bachchan on top form(clap)

4) Darr. A young lady stalked by a psycho who won't take no for an answer;)

5) Purana Mandir. Unashamed to express my love for this horror flick from the 80's. A vampire is beheaded but rises again two hundred years later to take revenge upon the king's family! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5v7X4b0Oqk&wide=1

Did you say that after 1980's you stopped watching Bollywood movies?

BTW, I agree Sholay is still no. 1 movie of modern India.

ps: Mother India is a movie of Independence India.
