I am not a Zaid Hamid hater, but I am convinced that he is fake, without shadow of a doubt.
We all know his association with Yussuf Kazzab, he plays down his old association, do not answer clearly. Even if we ignore it, and accept his or his supporters arguments about his association with Yussuf Kazzab.
The question should be asked if he is a reformed personality? I do not have any doubt that he is still what he was before. I can prove it Inshallah, writing an article about him is on my list of priorities.
Having a goatee, using the name of religion, using slogans to get fame does not mean that you are authentic or could be trusted. Especially when your past is associated with a man who was abusing Islam and our beloved Prophet SAW.
I am not writing this post because of this video posted, you guys know I critcise MQM regularly on this forum. I am just not convince about him and his motives.

Sometimes Zircons shine brighter than diamonds, but they are not diamonds, fake like Zaid Hamid. He is still pulling wool over peoples eyes. I will try to finish off the article over this weekend. I will love to see your comments when I post it on my blog.
You are a nice person, I am not trying to criticise you, but probably you are fooled by him, as many are. I am not against some of the material he produced or what he says, but I do not think his motives and associations are good.
