These murtads are against Islam and not just religious "fanatics" or "fundamentalists".
I don't understand why people support him either they don't aware of the salman taseer conspiracy or they allow any body to speak on Islam.
Please if you talking against Ulma's and Mufti's in Islam atleast you should have to become Ulma. This is just like that an Interpass argue with the PhD holders.

I just tell you according to my knowledge that most of the Ulma's are not supporting the killing of Salman Taseer but according to them in the current scenario where anti-islam leaders who made liquor Halal in the recent past by Fed. shariat court of Pakistan so what are expecting from them to protect the Blasphemy Law in Pakistan, so we don't have any choice we have to support the guard to take step and this is the public reaction and nothing else.

So far as her interview is concerned she is 100% right that there is no check on this "Draconian Law".

Let us tell all of you a very horrible story..........You can confirm it from Khabrain of Multan as they published this story and I don't know why it didn't get any publicity... In Nawaz Sharief's second term, there was a person Ahmed (not his real name). Uss nain aik masjid k imam Khalid (again not his real name) ko 15000 rupees, kuch maan Chawal aur Munji udhar per di. Ahmed nain Khalid se 15000 rs. aur kuch maan chawal aur munji k badlay, Khalid se uski gaey (COW) ka mutalba kia aur kaha keh wo usay kuch paisay oper bhi dey ga. Khalid kisi bhi halat mein apni gaey nahi daina chahta tha. usnain ahmed se 4 month ka waqt manga aur kaha keh wo gandum ki katai per usay uss ki raqam laota de ga...Ahmed ko Khalid ki muflasi aur ghurbat ka ahsas tha......usnain iss sorat-i-haal ka faeda uthanain k leeay Khalid ko tang kerna shurroo ker dia. Where is Zardari, PPP and JIYALAS of PPP? Salmaan Taseer was boasting to be a big JIYALA....
This coorupt mafia of PPP never talk about Taseer after his death where he was going to any extent to make Zardari happy by humiliating Nawaz Sharif and so on..
There is a reason this law has been adopted in the constitution. It is for the same reason that you have quoted, that muslims are very sensitive when it comes to the honour of our Prophet Salallahu Alayhe Wasallam. If it wasn't for this law, then we would see a person in each neighborhood who is looking to become the next Ilm ud Din Shaheed. Ever since the law was promulgated, not one of the accused has been awarded the death penalty. And never have the muslims protested against the decisions because we trust our courts and we know that they would have taken every aspect of the inicident into account. What made this case special was that Taseer tried to use his powers to intervene in a court case. He has no right to do so and he should have let the courts decide. Secondly, appeals against the session court go to high court. Appeals against the high courts go to the supreme court. And then can the accused party asks the president for clemency against the final decison. Who gave the right to Taseer to take a subordinate court's case appeal straight to the president, bypassing the superior court?
Another point is that you may be right that this law is being used to victimise minorities. But it is not only this law that is being misused. People register fake cases of murder, kidnapping, rape, etc for personal vendetta. Fake witnesses are prepared and scores of innocent people die in vain. Has an NGO or any TASEER ever spoken against those? Poor implementaition of a law DOES NOT render the law itself invalid.
