Contact the Canadian embassy in Islamabad and explain them your situation, I am sure there are many other Canadian Pakistanis stranded there, perhaps try to find other similar situation and Trudeau might get AC or WJ to send a special chartered flight to evacuate.

Just need your thoughts / Input
As most of you know the corona situation everywhere, My Family (Wife and 6 yrs old) and many other Families too are stuck in Pakistan. They left only for 2.5 weeks. PIA running the special flights but they cancelling the schedule flights. My family's flight cancelled twice (27th March and 12th April). Special flight cost is PKR 335,000/Person one way. for me its not possible to spend $6,500.
What you guys will suggest, what we will/can do? Force Government of PAK / PIA to bring the people on the same ticket OR force Canadian Govt. to bring there people back.
(please ignore my grammatical mistakes)

Your best bet should be Govt. of Canada.

1) Try to have them pick up the tab for a commercial flight (whatever airline that is operating in these times).

2) You can try asking them to arrange an evacuation for your family members on humanitarian grounds.

The second option might be a long-shot as your family is not in a dangerous or life threatening situation. As they are with their extended family.

The situation is stressful but your family's safety is more important than their travel back to Canada. The long haul flight is a potential danger in itself if you look at the current situation. May Allah resolve it for you in the best possible way.

Well when you break it down its not too unreasonable. First you are carrying only 50% the passengers. Then you are burning anywhere from 150 to $200,000 if not more worth of jet fuel, then fuel surcharges, staff pay, airport charges, catering, etc etc which I'm sure have also gone up in price not to mention cost of all the extra precaution and SOPs and then double that because the plane is going to be coming back empty or maybe a handful of FOC passengers like embassy or airline staff.

This is the price you pay for being a fool and traveling when the world is in the middle of a pandemic crisis.

Canadians are entitled to have $5000 per person loan for travel purposes during this pandemic. Your family has to register themselves with the Canadian high commission in Islamabad and then apply for this loan. High fare is logical due to the passengers health safety concerns. Airlines are not bringing full flights (seat by seat) and the return flights are without any passengers load.

$5000 is a government loan.

Its not the force or pledge, it is the gouging and jacking up the prices which is being debated here. Without the high prices, PIA is not taking them back. This is total unfair for those who already have spent money and had their return tickets when the flights got cancelled. PIA can damn well run these few exceptional flights on low fares ... It is totally greed which is driving these prices high and it is next to extortion.

This is not PIA fault. All airlines now required to follow diseases prevention protocols. It means one person per row and less passengers per flight. PIA had to cancel and reassign all seats accordingly. Now each passenger has to pay for 2-3 seats occupied or govt provide any subsidy. Pak govt already in financial crunch begging money from overseas, who already lost job or business abroad. Canada govt already sent you $2000 per person and extra child benefits. You have to use it to get back to Canada and file for unemployment benefits.
