It always amazes me how good-for-nothing people who don't even get the option of a second fil of gravy at home start blabbering about IK who single-handedly brought down political mafias with his courage, tenacity, and decision-making ability. The army definitely is a more disciplined institution and saves the country from the existential threat when low IQ, serf-serving looters are in power however it must submit to a lawful and moral political authority backed by the people of the country. I think this present episode is not an indication of bad judgment on the part of IK; rather a very dark episode in the history of Pakistan Army where they have opted for the interests of their institution over the interests of the country.

Khan was right, it was his duty to select one, one who can protect the country and not their own or USA interests.
