پٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں 55روپے فی لیٹراضافے کی اوگرا نےتجویز بھجوادی

پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں ایک بار پھر اضافے کا امکان ہے، اوگرا (آئل اینڈ گیس ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی) نے سمری حکومت کو ارسال کردی۔

ذرائع ابلاغ پر چلنے والی خبروں کے مطابق اوگرا نے پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں 55 روپے فی لیٹر تک اضافے کی سمری حکومت کو ارسال کردی ہے۔

اوگرا کی جانب سے حکومت کو پیش کردہ تجویز میں کہا گیا ہے کہ پیٹرول 29 جبکہ ڈیزل 55 روپے فی لٹر مہنگا کیا جائے۔ پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں ردوبدل سے متعلق حتمی فیصلہ حکومت آج کرے گی۔

خدشہ ہے کہ وزیراعظم شہباز شریف پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں ایک بار پھر اضافے کی منظوری دے دیں گے۔

پیٹرول کی موجودہ قیمت 209 روپے 86 پیسے، ڈیزل 204.15 روپے فی لیٹر، لائٹ ڈیزل 178 روپے 03 پیسے جبکہ مٹی کا تیل 181.94 روپے فی لیٹر میں دستیاب ہے۔

رواں مہینے کے ابتدائی ایام میں بھی 30 روپے فی لیٹر جبکہ گزشتہ ماہ کے آخری ہفتے میں بھی 30 روپے لیٹر اضافے کی منظوری دی گئی تھی۔ جس کے بعد پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتیں تاریخ کی بلند ترین سطح پر پہنچ گئی تھیں۔

I've been doing IT projects for different oil companies for almost 14 years. I was speaking to some oil traders in London and Singapore last week....for the rest of this year they are all predicting and planning for best case of Brent to be around $100 per BBL and worst case $125 per BBL.

Of course the market changes everyday, but those are the kind of ranges they are hedging right now.

Hoping prices will fall will not be a good strategy, not just for Pakistan, but any country that is net importer.

My main objection from the PTI government was that it had an opportunity to hedge the energy prices on historical low levels and it failed to act . Considering we are dependent on oil for our power plants , it was essential that we could take the opportunity to seize the moment for the cheapest prices in century , and they missed it miserably. PTI and IK played politics with almost everything . They continue to target Khakan Abbasi for higher LNG prices but failed to get any new contract on cheaper prices .
The recent lifting of 17% sale tax on solar systems in Pakistan is a step forward. Why couldn't IK take theses initiatives in the past ? All he did was waste his time with personal vendetta and grudge.

My main objection from the PTI government was that it had an opportunity to hedge the energy prices on historical low levels and it failed to act . Considering we are dependent on oil for our power plants , it was essential that we could take the opportunity to seize the moment for the cheapest prices in century , and they missed it miserably. PTI and IK played politics with almost everything . They continue to target Khakan Abbasi for higher LNG prices but failed to get any new contract on cheaper prices .
