کینیڈا میں پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں نے پچھلے سارے ریکارڈ توڑ ڈالے

دنیا بھر کی طرح کینیڈا میں بھی پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں شدید اضافے سے ماضی کے تمام ریکارڈ ٹوٹ چکے ہیں۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق کینیڈا میں ایک رات کے اندر پیٹرول کی قیمت میں 10 سینٹ کا اضافہ ہوا جس کے بعد اس وقت پیٹرول کی قیمت ڈیڑھ ڈالر سے فی لٹر سے تجاوز کرچکی ہے جس کے باعث ملک میں مہنگائی بھی اسی شرح سے بڑھ رہی ہے، پاکستانی کرنسی کے حساب سے کینیڈا میں اس وقت پیٹرول کی فی لٹر قیمت 215 روپے تک پہنچ چکی ہے۔

غیر ملکی خبررساں ادارے کی رپورٹ کے مطابق پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں حالیہ اضافے کے بعد ملک میں اشیاء خوردونوش کی قیمتوں میں بھی ریکارڈ اضافہ ہوا ہے۔

رپورٹ کے مطابق پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کی ایک وجہ تیل کا بحران ہے جس کے باعث برطانیہ کے متعدد آئل اسٹیشنز پر پیٹرول کی ترسیل بھی بند کردی گئی ہے، برطانیہ میں اس وقت پیٹرول کی فی لٹر قیمت 1اعشاریہ32 پاؤنڈز ہے جو پاکستانی روپے میں 306 روپے سے بھی زائد بنتی ہے۔

ماہرین کا کہنا ہے کہ پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں اضافے اور قلت کو دیکھتے ہوئے موسم سرما میں قیمتوں میں مزید اضافے کا امکان ہے۔

Adeel Habib, they why don't you shift back in Pakistan. This is such a bull shit comparison, then please also calculate the minimum wage in Canada and then compare it with Pakistan. As per that comparison, 90% of Pakistan is earning less than 200 CAD per month.

The thing is, comparison should be made in percentage increase w.r.t. the wages, not just convert a CAD in Rs and tell us that Pakistan is a heaven.

You give 80-90 % of Pakistan 200 CAD per month as their wage, whereas, per hour Wage in Canada might be 10-15 CAD, meaning even the lowest of their workers will only work 20 hours and will earn more than 80% of Pakistan. After that, if their price increases by few cents, will it have the same impact on people like it has on ours? And if only oil prices are the sole factor, I guess Afghanistan is selling oil at half the price than ours, does that make them a better country than ours?

If the Govt is corrupt, or if the nation cannot control its Fouj, this does not mean that there are no taxes. They are taking it by force by making it a part of each and every thing.

One day people will understand how policy making and interference of Fouj is the only problem which differentiates Pakistan from the first world. Not just Pakistan but all such countries where there is Fouj trying to interfere, you will see they all remain relatively poorer and would remain so. Why? because most of these armies are established by their colonial masters and they keep themselves loyal to their masters mostly.
