I am from Karachi, what I would like to know that is the 'declared' value of any property the 'price' at which the property was bought/sold or the current 'market' value of the property which 'fluctuates'. If declared value should be the current 'market' value then don't people know at least here in Defense Karachi property's declared value on receipt is totally different from what the property is sold for in the market. I personally believe that the declared value should be what one 'paid' at the time of 'purchase' and this is what Imran Khan has done. As a matter of fact Imran Khan is one of the very 'few' people I know that declared price of the property & purchase price are one and the same. Show me anyone who does that in Pakistan. Like in Defense Karachi a 500 sq. yd. Plot goes for 150 lacs and on the receipt it is only shown 15 to 20 lacs and I've never met anyone doing any differently other than Imran Khan.

thats how much you pay per year if you want to get an undergraduate degree from bradford university. Per annum 13100 pounds which is 1899500 per year and 3 years fee will be 5698500 and students in pakistan will pay only about 7 lacs for 3 years , so around 85% discount.

ایسی تیس ویل پیڈ چولیں میدان میں آچکی ھیں۔ادھر جب حاجی خانہ کعبہ میں عمرہ اور طواف کر رھے تھی تو دوسری طرف شیاطین اکٹھے ھو کر جدہ میں میٹنگ کر رھے تھے کہ اب کیا گند مارنا ھے جس سے بدبو ھی بدبو پھیل جاے۔
دیکھو یارو انکی قسمت کہ سرکاری خرچ پر ھی سھی اگر وھاں پنھچ ھی گئے ھو تو عبادت اور دعا میں وقت گزارو،،،،،،،،پر انکی قسمت میں ذلالت ھی تھی۔

genuine questions, need to be answered

I think u have never filled a Tax form with FBR...There is no property tax in Pakistan right now so Assets are shown at Purchase price in Tax forms which is a requirement by FBR..FBr is only interested to know that if somebody has made some assets then he must have the income to make that therefore only purchase price is important...However PTI economic policy has said that we will change this law and will impose taxation on property bigger than 10 kanals..After imposition of that law people will be asked to declare their present value on tax returns
