It is documented in several hadith books that the Prophet prohibited the scribing of anything from him except the Quran. Also, there are reports that his ‘rightly guided successors’ banned and burnt hadith materials as they tried to prevent the creation of secondary authorities next to the Quran. This specific prohibition seems to be evidenced by the historical data, e.g. lack of any authoritative hadith book during the first few generations of Muslims.

You are saying, prophet Muhammad prohibited writing of hadees , which is written in a hadees.
Don't you think the above sentence is erroneous in logic ? If there was no hadees about hadees prohibition, we wouldn't have found out Prophet Muhammad prohibited writing of Hadees .
Also Quran says to follow Prophet Muhammad, how would we follow him from Quran only ?

he is probably munkir-e-hadith. These people are not muslims as they deny and do not believe in a basic pillar of islam. It is very similar to saying " Bhai May Allah ko to manta houn per Rasool ko nahi"

حضور سیدُ المرسلین صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ کی اطاعت و فرمانبرداری فرض ہے، قرآنِ پاک کی متعدد آیات میں آپ صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ کی اطاعت کا حکم دیا گیا بلکہ رب تعالیٰ نے آپ صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ کی اطاعت کو اپنی اطاعت قرار دیا اورا س پر ثواب عظیم کا وعدہ فرمایا اور تاجدارِ رسالت صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ کی نافرمانی پرعذاب جہنم کا مژدہ سنایا ،لہٰذا جس کام کا آپ صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ نے حکم فرمایا اسے کرنا اور جس سے منع فرمایا اس سے رک جانا ضروری ہے،اللہ تعالیٰ ارشاد فرماتا ہے: وَ مَاۤ اٰتٰىكُمُ الرَّسُوْلُ فَخُذُوْهُۗ-وَ مَا نَهٰىكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوْاۚ-وَ اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَؕ-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ شَدِیْدُ الْعِقَابِ ( سورۂ حشر: ۷)
ترجمہ : کنزُالعِرفان ! اور جو کچھ تمہیں رسول عطا فرمائیں وہ لو اور جس سے منع فرمائیں ، اُس سے باز رہو اور اللہ سے ڈرو بیشک للہ کا عذاب سخت ہے-- حضرت ابو موسیٰ اشعری رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ سے روایت ہے، حضور انور صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ نے ارشاد فرمایا: میری اور اس چیز کی جس کے ساتھ اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجھے بھیجا مثال اس شخص کی سی ہے جو اپنی قوم کے پاس آ کر کہنے لگا: اے میری قوم میں نے اپنی آنکھوں سے ایک لشکر دیکھا ہے، میں واضح طور پر تمہیں اُس سے ڈرا رہا ہوں ، اپنی نجات کی راہ تلاش کر لو۔ اب ایک گروہ اس کی بات مان کر مہلت سے فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئے راتوں رات وہاں سے چلا گیا وہ تو نجات پا گیا اور ایک گروہ نے اس کی بات نہ مانی اور وہیں رکا رہا تو صبح کے وقت لشکر نے ان پر حملہ کر کے انہیں ہلاک کردیا۔ تو جس نے میری اطاعت کی اور جو میں لایا اس پر عمل پیرا ہوا وہ اس گروہ جیسا ہے جو نجات پاگیا اور جس نے میری نافرمانی کی اور جو میں لایا اسے جھٹلایا تو وہ اس گروہ کی طرح ہے جو نہ مان کر ہلاکت میں پڑا۔ ( مسلم، کتاب الفضائل، باب شفقتہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم علی امتہ۔۔۔ الخ، ص ۱۲۵۳ ، الحدیث: ۱۶(۲۲۸۳))
۔نیز اس آیت سے معلوم ہوا کہ احکام تین قسم کے ہیں ایک وہ جو ظاہر کتاب یعنی قرآن سے ثابت ہوں۔ دوسرے وہ جو ظاہر حدیث سے ثابت ہوں اور تیسرے وہ جو قرآن و حدیث کی طرف قیاس کے ذریعے رجوع کرنے سے معلوم ہوں۔

Anybody who does not believe in basic pillars of Islam is a kafir and there is nothing wrong with your choice of not accepting it, your choice but then do not force your inclusion in Islam. Islam is a an ideology if u do not follow it then u r not a muslim. Period!
Example1: I do not believe that Jesus is God. Therefore i am a not a Christian. Whats so odd about it?
Example2: Imjutt does not believe that Hanuman/Ganesh are gods. Therefore he is not a Hindu.
Example3: A man who does not believe in Hadith ( a basic tenant of Islam) is not a muslim.
What part of this you do not understand. You agree with the examples?
