خیبر پختونخوا: حاضر سروس ڈی ایس پی گرفتار

قومی احتساب بیورو خیبر پختونخوا نے کروڑوں روپے کے غیر قانونی اثاثے بنانے کے الزام میں پولیس محکمے کے حاضر سروس ڈی ایس پی رجب علی کو گرفتار کر لیا ہے۔

رجب علی موجودہ وقت میں بطور ڈی اےس پی (سٹی) ضلع مردان تعینات تھے۔

قومی احتساب بیورو کی جانب سے جمعہ کو جاری ہونے والے ایک بیان میں کہا گیا ہے کہ ملزم کے اثاثوں کے بارے میں اس وقت انکشاف ہوا جب پشاور ہائی کورٹ کو ان کے خلاف عوام کو حبس بے جا میں رکھنے کی شکایات موصول ہوئیں۔

Over 8,000 teachers recruited in KP

KP Education Minister Atif Khan said that the government was planning to launch different training programmes for teachers to improve their teaching skills. A huge fund would be allocated in the coming budget for the purpose, he added. “The chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Imran Khan, has allocated Rs500 million for poor widows and persons with disabilities out of which Rs250 million have already been released on the recommendation of Chief Minister Pervez Khattak.”

Govt land cleared of encroachments in Lakki



LAKKI MARWAT: Shops and makeshift kiosks built on government land in Naurang town here were razed during an anti-encroachment drive on Tuesday.


The operation was launched after traders didn’t pay heed to the notices served on them by the local administration to remove encroachments, built on both sides of the GT Road, on their own or face action.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ........KPK OR KP ????

THOSE familiar with Pushto know that ‘Pakhtunkhwa’ is one word abbreviated as ‘P’. A few ‘intelligent legislators’ while giving abbreviation to ‘Pakhtunkhwa’ in the 18th Amendment, abbreviated it as ‘PK’, which is ridiculous.

Can a Pakhtun legislator bring it to the notice of the parliament and remove the extra ‘K’, calling ‘Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’ as KP rather than KPK.

Patwari terminated in Mardan




MARDAN: A patwari was terminated and two others were suspended from their jobs for committing alleged irregularities in revenue records here on Friday.


Revenue department officials said that the assistant to the commissioner, revenue, Qaiser Khan terminated Fazal-i-Malik,


patwari of Toru area, and suspended Mohammad Shah and Pir Mazhar Ali Shah, patwaris of Bagh-i-Ram and Balagari areas, respectively, tampering with the revenue record. The officials said the raids were made on the directives of commissioner, Mardan division, while acting on several complaints against these patwar khanas. — Correspondent
