you are the ppl who are so impressed from indian ideology and without even giving a minutes to your thought consider other person child and yourself genius, scholar or some hot shot.... this child on other end you are talking might be older then you and may have seen world more then you and have more experience than you in world affairs so now let me come to the point normally i don't argue with ppl like you coz it is baseless but its important for me to give you answers... NO it was not only muslims who fought for the freedom but do some research and you will find that percentage wise mostly Muslims did armed resistance and they sacrificed more lives then any other sect/religion in this region... and as i mentioned you in my last post that we have enough of our own heroes to name intersections after them instead of looking for some indian heroes... and if you like them so much it will be better for you to pack you luggage from UK and move to your forefathers land... and i hope you grow up and come out your world where you think you are the best men and rest are just children

Bhagat Singh was born in what became Pakistan, Lyallpur, and he was hanged for fighting the Brits at a very young age, around 1931, about the time the idea of Pakistan came into existence. So tell me should history ONLY be taught from 1947 ?

dear list is too long but when you have time search about fakir of IPI, The great Fakir Saidullah, Palay Khan and as i said list is long enough. They fought with much more passion and with more strength then singh sahib... If you want to convince me about accepting that then sorry bro i will never accept bhagat sing as my hero... coz he is not our hero

Jinnah went to the extent of defending Bhagat Singh in his speech in the Central Assembly on September 12, 1929. He held Bhagat Singh and his comrades in high esteem, says The Trial of Bhagat Singh — Politics of Justice by A.G. Noorani, Supreme Court advocate.
Mr. Noorani says Jinnah made no secret of his sympathies for the Lahore prisoners. On the hunger strike by prisoners in Lahore jail, Jinnah said "the man who goes on hunger strike has a soul. He is moved by that soul, and he believes in the justice of his cause. He is no ordinary criminal, who is guilty of cold blooded, sordid wicked crime."
"... I do not approve of the action of Bhagat Singh... I regret that rightly or wrongly the youth of today is stirred up... however much you deplore them and however much you say they are misguided, it is the system, this damnable system of governance, which is resented by the people,'' Jinnah remarked. The House was adjourned but Jinnah continued his speech in the next sitting and pointed out the anomalies that would arise if the trial of Bhagat Singh and others would proceed in their absence. — PTI

a single person can't do anything by himself there is a team behind him... will start with our prophet (PBUH) he has his team of companions (Sahaba) and with help of them he managed to spread the message across the globe, and then imran khan just didn't win the world cup by himself there was a team behind him and then M.A Jinnah he didn't do all by himself there was a team with him but all of them were leaders of their teams and no one can take their part in what they have done so Mr. Intelligent i never shred his efforts but made you clear that he was a normal human being like us and could commit mistakes and anyone has the right to disagree with his views...but for you to get this your IQ level has to be above average which i believe is not even near to average in your case...
and if the readers are like you then i don't expect any good judgement from them either...and my advice before i leave this discussion here and a brotherly advice

Bhai bahaduri bahaduri hoti hai, we should accept it with whole heart ,jalianwala bhaag m angrez general ne jaloos pe fire karwa diya tha hundreds of ppl were murdered , lot of them were muslims, hum log sochtey he reh gaye aur ussne england jaa k uss general ko maar diya at the age of just 23, he was a brave man, yeh usska haq hai k iss chowk ko usske naam se mansoob kiya jaye n being muslim hamen uska haq ussey dena chahiye

dear i accpt palay khan fakir and all others too why not they are our hero too... dear by this all our soldiers who are fighting against terrorism and india and other die hard matterss .. dear but legend is something else.. ok if you dnt accpt it its your matter but to tell you one thing even english european people knows about this singh sahib. i am nt saying that he is superior than our own heroes just i say we should accpt and to dedicate one chowk isnt a big dealt. we pakistanis are emotionals we dnt think logicaly
