What a comical post. Zia, Keramat, Tikka Khan and Janjua are all Punjabis.
Also, what's even more hilarious is that you're saying the word Mohajir means immigrant, therefore, it applies to anyone who migrated.
The word was invented to refer to a community who was being mistreated, oppressed and discriminated against
(highest literacy rate; financial and industrial hub of Pakistan; highest per capita income) so they would be clumped together into one community as they did not have enough numbers as other communities and weren't a monolithic community because their forefathers migrated from different parts of India and not just one with a mass migration like in Punjab.
(So it is Punjabs fault you guys immigrated from different parts of India, but instead of assimmilating you decided not to change, lets see all the communities living in New York tried to do that..you know exactly what will happend to them)
It's hilarious that you think the migration was within the same context but it was not. Punjabis from East Punjab migrated to West Punjab. Did the same happen to those who migrated from Bihar? Did they get greeted by their own kind of a completely alien culture? No! Punjabis moved to Punjab, a different part that is only a few miles, in some cases and in most, even less because the arbitrary line drawn by Mountbatten was even run through some homes. Same for people migrating from UP, MP, Bihar, Delhi or Hyderabad? No!
(What nonsense are you talking about, yes they crossed the border but the left their land. The difference between you and mean is my forefathers although moved from UP, to Punjab made damn sure we learnt Punjabi and became part of the land. Yours did not hence that burden of guilt you guys carry every where. Travel from Lahore on GT road to Pindi, majority of the business are owned by people of your kind, but slightly different, they or we assimillated you did, hence your forefathers mistake has caught up to you. Have ever heard of riots against Pathans, Pastoons or anyone else).
I would also like to ask you, compared to Punjabis, how many Mohajirs migrated to Pakistan? (who migrated from minority areas in India unlike Punjabis who were in a majority in Punjab but living as third class citizens
(the people you left behind are still third class citizens); remember, the British policy of divide and rule and letting minorities rule in majority-different community areas? Kashmir had minority Hindu Dogras, Junagudh had minority Muslim Nawabs and in Punjab, Hindus were the lowest in number so they were given the most wealth, then it was Sikhs and last were Muslims, which is why they were slaughtered with ease along with the fact that the new colonialists or Hindus used Sikhs who had recently served in the Sikh regiment in World War 2 as tools to avenge the loss of their wealth in temples around Lahore, etc.)
Then, these Punjabis like Ghulam Muhammad who was previously a part-owner in Mahindra and Muhammad (then, Mahindra and Mahindra) moved to Pakistan as a matter of business and influential interest including feudal lords like Noons who win under any and all parties
.(why did you guys migrate because you knew you could not compete with the majority then and still can't.) Ghulam Muhammad was the same man who first brought this concept of undermining democratically-elected governments and also mentioned this to foreign dignitaries. Who gave him this right? But, remember, this is why he moved with his opportunistic buddies. Why else would anyone leave such a profitable business? for the nation? No!
(Most of big business are still owned by your community, I don't care)
This attitude resulted in Bengalis feeling discriminated against and the blame conveniently went on foreign hands. It is true that they were involved but they wouldn't come fishing for trouble if there wasn't trouble there to begin with. It was this mentality that destroyed Pakistan and caused the rise of ethnic, separatist movements like MQM that people in Punjab easily dismiss as irrelevant or tyrannical or dictatorial but they fail to comprehend the reason behind their support (it's their ideology, stupid).
(Ethnicity is your idology, that is why are cocconed in the urban areas, your leaders has become a real Mujahir by hiding in London)
Since the Punjabis were uprooted as a matter of policy and were forced to do so, their struggle or loss of life isn't the same
(oh really you are so full of S--t) as that of those who were living wealthy lives and had been adamant to go to Pakistan, as a matter of choice from areas they had lived in with respect and dignity for centuries. Upon being uprooted, they came to Pakistan to get nothing
(tell this to Sindhis he will put a stick where it does not belong) in return except for being called "Hindustani" or mistreated by nouveau riche Punjabis (through fake claims on lands)
(not only are you getting emotional but you hellucinating at the same time, that is why are not making any sense) like yourself. This is why a lot of people left for India again because being insulted and harassed by this so-called majority in the new lands was of no use. This was the community that brought you the language, culture, religion, bureaucracy and came up with the concept of Pakistan
(talk about self-righteous statement). @
A.G.Uddin, Liaquat Ali Khan is not Punjabi. Haryanvi is a different language closer to Hindi/Urdu and they have a different culture, even though it was part of East Punjab, people that migrated from there don't speak the Punjabi language or have the same understanding as you do about their culture. I am referring to people that call themselves Mohajirs from Haryana areas.
When those people who have been mistreated and degraded by people such as yourself, they couldn't go back to their cities of origin because the newly found majority of Hindus and sense of betrayal upon the first time these Mohajirs left, caused them to become the Pakistani Punjabis of India. They became intolerant and arrogant and went on a rampage of slaughter and murder
(you were treated like dirt before 1947, your cousins are treated like dirt and they always be treated with contempt, understand that). This had taken place in Karachi, as well as Baluchistan and KPK. This is why Altaf said what he said in India. I suggest you reconsider his video and understand that families were separated as not all wanted to migrate and some just couldn't afford to do so. This is why he asked Indians to accept them back as being called a "foreigner" in Pakistan is not acceptable. You can hear this bigotry from Zulfiqar Mirza and Shahi Syed (local Sindhi and Pashtun, respectively).
( its funny you used the word bigotry, and I hope you understand its meaning, if not read your own post when you not hellucinating and then maybe you will understand it)
Altaf also became hateful of Punjabis because of him being insulted for his "qaum" in the military. He didn't used to think in ethnic (really) terms until the following event. There was an exercise in the form of a competition that he had won but the nepotistic instructor couldn't tolerate the fact that his own kind didn't win (and also wanted to maintain the status quo of his community in the military) so he started insulting Altaf Hussain for his community and stated "how many wars did your qaum fight?" Altaf could've said that you were the only Muslim Army in history to lay down arms and whatever you have captured of Kashmir was thanks to the Waziris. He could've also mentioned his own Mughal history but he didn't because that would cause division and insult to Pakistan.
Being an emotional little girl that you are and influenced by ignorant and uneducated Punjabi-nationalist parents, you need not worry about this issue as you would only highlight the Punjabi mentality that everyone is already wary of. Imran's supporters understand his outlook has changed and so has his surrounding leaders such as Dr. Alvi and Naeem ul Haque. My suggestion to you would be to vote for a Punjabi nationalist, big brother "wannabe", fat and agricultural party like that of Nawaz Sharif as that is more reflective of your backwards and ignorant way of thinking. By the way, thank your family and those that think like you for destroying Pakistan and making it a divisive nation due to your false notions of superiority. I wonder what the Arabs are doing and weren't these the same people that betrayed the Ottomans and now are "betraying" your beloved Iran.
Punjabis are proportionally the most racist and bigoted communities in Pakistan and have managed to alienate all others like Sindhis, Pashtuns and Baluch just as they did with the Bengalis. Look at the TV shows with Punjabi-supremacist (nothing superior about Punjab) and Punjabi nationalist, Aftab Iqbal and even Azizi. Trust me when I tell you that you can never subjugate anyone. Today, Bangladesh has a better economy and you are the ones that get devastating floods every year, much more than what you blamed Bangladesh for.
You can't win because Serbs couldn't hold on to Yugoslavia, either with this approach. They had to kill millions of Muslims in Bosnia but today, Bosnia is free. Also, Kosovo, same thing. Muslims are not a community that can be oppressed. Bangladesh got its freedom, Baluchistan is on its way and parts of KPK and interior Sindh is no different. Karachi might not leave to take a chance, either.
We were all in it together but the power of Pakistan was usurped. Unless its devolution takes place, there won't be a Pakistan because people will make sure they get access to their right of self-determination. Remember, don't blame foreign hands like the Serbs, then, because that would mean you're blissfully ignorant (even though, you are now, as well). Pakistan cannot go on if people such as you continue to exist in influential places and have a say in every Pakistani issue. In any decent society, you would be treated as a fringe element because that's what you are and should be treated as such. If PTI or instead, Pakistan and its establishment is continually dominated by such folks, then it's likely that present-day Pakistan should not exist ('47 one already doesn't) and I will be the first to stand in favor of such an arrangement because saying Pakistan, euphemistically for Punjab is anti-Islam and against any respectable person's values.
