Shah Jee your question is very valid, very pertinent in the existing scenario and needs little pondering.
Never had there been that many....; the sheer number of fault lines that we are seeing in our society at this point in time. This situation is making things alarmingly worrisome and quasi-difficult. Case in point is the last ten years audacious demonstration of their character by ALL the beneficiaries of the current system. Over and over again, all of them ganging up against the solitary voice of a financially unblemished gentleman representing the youth and the educated of this country, struggling single-handedly though valiantly, against these hostile forces for the last 20 plus years. To every-ones utter surprise not a day passes, all these political actors and their followers are seen up in arms against each other to protect their own petty benefits, but when it comes to the CALL by an honest man to cleanse the system of all the ills facing our society they feel threatened and converge onto a single point agenda --- never to let the conscientious man succeed.
In the contemporary era, minus Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, not one example can be cited where a single person has challenged the Status Co and has stood like a man of steel for more than two decades against all odds fighting for the rights of the people whom he adores. Against all odds, he is still resilient and has not given up, he's still in the arena and he's still fighting. People of Pakistan from all walks of life MUST understand that the man has given one fourth of his life fighting on their behalf for them, and for their children's rights and for the glory of the future of these children and of the country. Time and again he has proved himself, he has proved his character that he can be TRUSTED upon as a custodian of their hard earned money. What else the people want???
Its my gut feeling, and almost seven decades of my personal life's experience that there is a SILVER LINING on the horizon and I can now see LIGHT at the end of the tunnel. Regardless of our political affiliations, once and for all, now is the time we SHOULD stand up hand in hand as a Nation, uniting ourselves behind a sincere man. Give him a chance, if he does not prove his mettle soon you will have a choice to replace him. Lets do it for ourselves, for our children and for our grand children. At the end of the day we are all Pakistanis and we love each other. Let the healing process start now for our collective good.
