After reading a couple of the comments above, I'm perplexed as to why there's such a fuss about the Urdu language. Every country has a national language, but what is there to promote it? No language is superior to any other language & languages do change with time.

I didn't address Khusrau in my previous post because he wrote primarily in Persian. Many Hindustani (historically known as Hindavi) verses are attributed to him, since there is no evidence for their composition by Khusrau before the 18th century. The language of the Hindustani verses appears to be relatively modern.

Write one of his poems that you think is written in a modern language. Use the Urdu alphabet, or else I'll have no doubt in my mind that you don't know what you are talking about.

کیا ریلیوینٹ مثال دوں تمہیں بتایا تو ہے کہ کامیاب قومیں اپنی زبان پر اپنی اصل پر فخر کرتی ہیں پاکستانیوں کی طرح احساس کمتری کا شکار نہیں ہوتیں اب کورین کا تعلیمی نظام انکی اپنی زبان میں ہے تو کیا وہاں ڈاکٹر اور انجنئیر نہیں بنتے اگر پاکستان کا نہیں ہے تو اس میں اردو کا کیا قصور ہے باقی فارسی ترکی اور عربی کو ملا کر اگر اردو زبان بنائی گئی ہے تو اس میں تمہیں کیا اعتراض ہے جیسے بھی بنائی گئی ہے یہ ایک زندہ حقیقت ہے اور اس بہت سا علم ٹرنسفر کیا گیا ہے علم کا ایک بہت بڑا ذخیرہ موجود ہے اس زبان میں گورے شوروں کا اس میں کوئی عمل دخل نہیں ہے تم اگر گوروں کی کاوش مانتے ہو تو مانتے رہو اس سے اس زبان پر کوئی فرق نہیں پڑنے والا ایک دن آئے گا جب احساس کمتری کے مارے انگریزوں کے پجاری کمزور ہونگے تو سائنس اور ٹیکنالوجی بھی ہماری اپنی زبان میں پڑھائی جائے گی

Bhai saab my whole objection is that where it stands Urdu is a useless language for the development of our country. Phele zabardasti urdu pardai jaati hai phir higher studies mein English mein shift ho jaatain hai.

Abhi bacha mushkil se urdu mein education ka aadi hota hai to us ko English mein phenk dete hain, phir woh na idhar ka rehta hai na udhar ka.

A to Z taleem urdu mein ker sakthay ho, right till you graduate with a degree be it in Finance, Medicine, Engineering, IT etc etc then please go right ahead and if not, then until such a time, keep one language from day one till the person graduates.

How many great scientists and nobel prize winners have we produced? People who have made an impact to humanity. While India has no such qualms specially with big city schools and that why you will find heads of Companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, IBM etc etc are all Indian.

Sure, you are presenting and arguing as it is your study and opinion. Khusru was born in 1253 and died some time in 1300. The source you gave here . . . if that's all you've got, then it's okay. I'm wrapping up this debate. I am in no mood to spread information. Have a nice day. By the way, I came to a conclusion that you don't know how to write in Urdu. Nope I just happen to agree with this study and opinion.

I can't type in Urdu. I've mentioned this many times here I can speak, read and write (by hand) urdu but I cannot type in Urdu. Simply because I never felt the need to learn it nor really ever needed too, Not having a Urdu keyboard is also small part of the problem. And before you can say, oh you can use google translate, roman to urdu converters. I've already had this conversation with chaudary saab before.

Itni bhi koi zururi nahi hai ke itna taradud kiya jaaye, jub roman urdu se kaam chal raha hai. infact Siasat.pk is the only place I even have to use written urdu to communicate. So really not worth the hassell for me

Yeah but there is no medium where from class one until you pass out with a degree in your hand entirely in Urdu. Thats the point I was trying to make as well as that it is pretty much impossible as medicine, physics, engineering, biology etc etc really don't translate well into urdu.

A degree in medicine, physics, engineering, chemistry, biology, or any other discipline cannot be obtained unless it is studied in English, which is a sad reality.

Thank you, that's exactly the point I was trying to make. And since any useful education cannot be had in Urdu ( for the time being at least, until proponents like Chaudary saab start creating entire curriculums in Urdu ) I was suggesting we should switch to English from day one. Thats what made chaudry saabs panties get all twisted.

I know we hardly have enough teachers who can barely teach in urdu medium, but its just a suggestion.

Oh I am so sorry, apas ki behas mein yeh post miss ho gaya. So sad to hear this. Allah s.w.t aap ko aur aap ki family ko sabar ata farmaiye. I know how it feels I just lost both my mother and father within the span of 2 months in 2021. But feels just like yesterday.
