Absolutely we need a PM who can build orange train kind of good project. Alhamdu Lillah only 85% of Punjab transportation budget will be used and yet Punjab can spend remaining 15% on remaining Punjab's transportation projects.

I am not betting on it but it is the way the things are looking. Some people are saying that Khan will give another extension to Bajwa and Bajwa will reward Khan with another government. I don't think it will work; all those card which were played before 2018 elections will not work next time. PML(N) corrupt card will not work again as they will be out of power for five year. "Aik Bar Khan ko Azamane mein kia Harj hei" will not work too as Khan is no more a clean slate. Khan sab theik kar de ga is gone too. Government may improve their economy somewhat but its effect to public will not be visible therefore common man will not call it great performance.

Orange line do not contain 85% of transportation budget, it is mostly tied to CPEC and loan from China. Orange line would have been built in 200 billions in four years if it were built without court disruptions. It reached to 250 due to court delays and PTI government intentionally delayed until courts pulled sticks on them. Budget exceed 300 billions due to additional 2 years of delayed tech-tics of current government. The money wasted due to delay could have used for several useful projects.

The subsidy for Orange Train alone is Rs 8Bn per year. This means per day subsidy is Rs 22Millions.

I live in a city with a current populations of 1.3 millions and a train project is in operation for more than 30 years when population of this City was about half or even less. Lahore is 10 times bigger than my City of residence. We spend tons of fuel in our cars/buses/rickshaw/taxi/motor cycle and pollute the environment too. Paying 5 million subsidy and saving 60 millions in fuel and other expenses is not a bad deal. Not to mention, it is a much cheaper public facility for poor population as well.
