All they can prove is that their aired contents were authentic. The claim by the person, watch selling stuff and getting it from the treasury is already admitted.

In UK courts, filed cases cannot just be withdrawn without the other party counter suing for their own defamation. You see defamation laws of UK are double edged sword ?

Geo offered its platform to PTI, if they do not appear for whatever reason, its their problem.
