They have also gauged/measured our response and reaction time. They know we not only dont have a defense system but will also not retaliate. Our forces are only good in killing local Pakistanies ( balochs and Pathans) but not so good against India.

Pakistan releasing all details from launch to destruction before even a word said by India means that Pakistan have a good capability of detection. And the reason Pakistan didn't destroy it right after entering Pakistan is because you don't have anti missile system deployed/active on your entire border in peace times.
India's motives could be any of the following but not limited to.
1) They were looking for a safe region for their missiles to enter into Pakistan undetected, so that they could hit targets within Pakistan from time to time with Pakistan having no clue as to where from these attacks are taking place.
2) They probably thought that Pakistan won't detect the missile from such a distance and wanted to hit a commercial plane themselves within Pakistan, knowing that the blame won't be put on India and Pakistan won't be able to explain to the world because it will have no clue what hit the plane.
3) They probably thought that Pakistan won't detect the launch site/area of the missile but will probably detect it within Pakistan's airspace and will launch an anti missile system itself in panic or automatically to destroy the missile but will most probably end up destroying a passenger plane, and so not knowing the origin of the missile they will not be able to explain to the world why a passenger plane was hit by Pakistan's anti-missile system.

A few days ago a Russian drone travelled over Romania and Hungary.It crashed in Croatia.All three are members of NATO.This drone was not detected by them probably because no one was expecting a Russia drone to fly in their air space.Cruise and ballistic missiles travel very fast so it is not easy to intercept them.Pakistan did track this missile from inside India.Pakistan should also do the same to India and just say there was a technical malfunction.China has demanded that India should work with Pakistan to get to the bottom of this incident.China and Pakistan should use the same excuse to test Indian defence.

dear friends everyone is working on assumptions and that is not good. how do we know that airforce had no clue? maybe they did and wanted to let that happen to make sure the world knows about and this incident could be used in future against endia? again lets not quarrel amongst ourselves for something that we have very little info about

its not war between india pak so army is not that alert level and even in alert not easy to stop Missile in that speed. ........ if indians wanted to check our ghori can cross lets us know?

Admin should have applied stricter publishing rules. Yeh banda sirf negativity spread kar raha hai. sirf Pakistan per sawal uthanay kay lia. asal question tu ye hai kay India nay missle fire kyun kia.. Pakistan did the right thing by not responding otherwise it could have started a war.. lakin yah insaan tu lagta hai Indian hi hai
