| لندن … متحدہ قومی موومنٹ کے قائد الطا ف حسین نے کہاہے کہ توہین عدالت کے نوٹس سے متعلق اپنے قانونی ماہرین سے مشورہ کررہا ہوں تاہم میں اپنی ذات کے حوالے سے کسی بات سے آج تک خوفزدہ نہیں ہوا، میں صرف اور صرف اللہ تعالیٰ کی ناراضی اور اس کے غیض و غضب سے ڈرتا ہوں اس کے علاوہ کسی بھی زمینی طاقت رکھنے والے سے نہیں ڈرتا، انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر کوئی سمجھتا ہے کہ میرے ڈٹ جانے سے حالات مزید خراب ہوسکتے ہیں تو کارکنان رائے دیں کہ کیا قیادت اور سیاست چھوڑ دوں؟۔ یہ بات انہوں نے ایم کیو ایم کی رابطہ کمیٹی لندن اور پاکستان، تنظیمی شعبہ جات اور آئینی و قانونی ماہرین سے گفتگوکرتے ہوئے کہی۔ الطاف حسین نے کہاکہ ایم کیو ایم کے کارکنوں اور ہمدردوں نے میرے خلاف توہین عدالت کے نوٹس پر مجھ سے جس طرح اپنی محبت و عقیدت کا اظہار کیا اور پرامن مظاہروں اور احتجاج کے ذریعے جس طرح اپنے جذبات کا اظہار کیا اس پر میں کارکنوں اور عوام کا دلی شکریہ ادا کرتا ہوں اور انہیں دل کی گہرائیوں سے زبردست خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں۔ الطا ف حسین نے کہاکہ مجھے اپنے کارکنوں اور عوام پر ناز ہے، جنہوں نے ہرکڑے وقت میں ہمت و حوصلے کا مظاہرہ کیا اور اپنے الطاف بھائی کاڈٹ کر ساتھ دیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے اپنے کارکنوں، ماوٴں، بہنوں، بزرگوں اور بچوں کے جذبات کا بخوبی اندازہ ہے میں اللہ تعالیٰ کے انصاف پر یقین رکھتے ہوئے آج بھی کڑی آزمائشوں اور کٹھن صورتحال میں ہر محاذ پر ڈٹ کر مقابلہ کررہا ہوں اس پر اگر کوئی یہ سمجھتا ہے کہ اس طرح میرے ڈٹ جانے سے حالات مزید خراب ہوسکتے ہیں تو میں ایم کیو ایم کے کارکنان، ووٹروں، ہمدردوں اور چاہنے والوں سے یہ اپیل کرتاہوں کہ وہ اس سلسلے میں مجھے رائے دیں کہ کیا مجھے تحریک کی قیادت اور سیاست چھوڑ دینی چاہیے؟ ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ایم کیو ایم کے کارکنان، ووٹرز اور ہمدرد عوام کی رائے اور مشوروں کو رابطہ کمیٹی کے سامنے رکھ کر اور ان کی روشنی میں اپنے مستقبل کا صحیح فیصلہ کروں گا۔ |
LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader late Monday night said he for his own person was not afraid of anyone on the face of this Earth, no matter how powerful, but Allah the Almighty, Geo News reported.
"I only fear the wrath of my Creator. No mighty mortal of the world out there can intimidate me", said he while talking to the Co-ordination Committee in London/Pakistan, office-bearers of various wings of the MQM and constitutional/legal experts.
Altaf Hussain further said that he was in constant consultation with his legal advisers over the contempt of court issue.
"I and my lawyers are deliberating as to how we should respond to the Supreme Court's contempt notice served upon me," he said.
MQM leader also urged his party workers to have their say on whether his stand on the contempt issue could aggravate the situation at hand.
Hussain said, “I am aware of the emotions of my workers but if someone thinks that circumstances would take a turn for the worse because of my determination, I am ready to relinquish the party leadership and leave politics.”
“I appeal to the MQM workers throughout the country, voters, supporters, and well-wishers to express their views if I should leave party leadership and politics. The MQM workers, voters, and general public can contact at the MQM Head Office, Nine Zero or the International Secretariat in London to send their wives. They can also send their opinions through fax or email. I would place their views before the Co-ordination Committee and decide about the future course of action in the light of public views.”
