پاکستان کے ذمے اس وقت تقریباً ایک سو دس ارب ڈالر کے بیرونی قرضے واجب الادہ ہیں۔ سال 2008 میں پاکستان کے ذمے بیرونی قرضہ ساڑھے 45 ارب ڈالر تھا جو پانچ سال کے بعد 2013 میں تقریباً 61 ارب ڈالر تک بڑھ گیا تھا۔

اگلے پانچ سال میں بیرونی قرض 95 ارب ڈالر تک جا پہنچا جو 31مارچ 2020 تک تقریباً 110 ارب ڈالر جا پہنچا۔ یاد رہے کہ اس قرض میں کورونا وائرس کے معیشت سے پہنچنے والے نقصان کی تلافی کے لیے حاصلِ کیا جانے والا دو ارب ڈالر کا قرض شامل نہیں جس میں آئی ایم ایف سے ملنے والا 1.4 ارب ڈالر اور دوسرے اداروں سے ملنے والا قرض شامل ہے۔

بیرونی قرضوں پر پاکستان کی جانب سے ادائیگیوں کے اعدادوشمار ظاہر کرتے ہیں ہیں کہ 2017 میں پاکستان نے 6.4ارب ڈالر کا قرض اور اس پر سود کی ادائیگی کی ۔ سال 2018 میں قرض اور سود کی ادائیگی 5.8 ارب ڈالر رہی تاہم سال 2019 میں اس کی ادائیگی میں نمایاں اضافہ دیکھنے میں آیا جب یہ 9.4 ارب ڈالر تک جا پہنچی۔

عالمی بینک کے جاری کردہ اعدادوشمار کو مطابق سال 2020 میں ملک کو مجموعی طور پر 8 ارب 97 کروڑ 40 لاکھ ڈالر ادا کرنے تھے جس میں کثیرالجہتی 3 ارب 40 کروڑ ڈالر، دو طرفہ 4 ارب 32 کروڑ ڈالر، غیر سرکاری 85 کروڑ ڈالر اور بانڈ ہولڈرز کے 2 36 کروڑ 25 لاکھ ڈالرز شامل ہیں۔

تاہم دو ارب 41 کروڑ ڈالر کےقرض کی ری شیڈولنگ سے سال کے دوران ملک کی قرض کی خدمات کی ادائیگی 6 ارب 53 کروڑ ڈالر ہوجائے گی۔پاکستان انگولا کے بعد اس اقدام کا دوسرا سب سے بڑا فائدہ اٹھانے والا ہے۔

Every country can borrow to a limit and we have exceeded that limit.

So trade equation that we need should be balanced at any cost. Simply we can not afford to add up.

Exports need to be increased and local imports need to be reduced significantly. Now we are going to have an added burden means foreign remittances will start dropping since in next 10 years, oil markets will not be attractive business.

We need to discuss with friendly countries for export of skilled manpower but for that we need to develop local industry to produce skilled manpower.

Also IT exports and IT Services exports need to be increased.

When we see all this, one can understand that Government has done an excellent job at the cost of its popularity but for the Pakistan.

I think if Government continue same policies for next 10 years, we will be in a much better shape as a country and we do not have to continue with our begging bowls.

Thanks to Government that they doing good job.

But at the same time, we have internal debt as well. Fiscal account need to be positive. FBR need to work hard and close the loop holes.

One thing is that we can do is to stop tax relaxation for any kind of business. Yes we can change tax slabs if we want to develop and bring new technologies in the country.

But one thing we know very clearly that a lot of people are escaping from tax by showing their organizations as wellfare organization and getting immunity. These kind of loop holes need to be closed.

Value added is an other option but its very difficult to manage in Pakistan considering the fact that honest is only one who did not get a chance.

We need to rediscuss electricity prices with Power Plants. They must sign new contracts to reduce and make competitive electricity prices.

In the same way, sugar and other industry prices need to revisited and focus shall be how we can circulate money in the bottom layer.

Money in one or few hands is actual problem of Pakistan. Money need to circulate and policies shall support them.

No i am just saying that we are paying but we are paying without any organization structure.
Organization structure money shall directly go to accounts of employees to ensure basic salary rule and minimum employment agreement.

In these organizations, there is no structure and all money goes in the account of Thekedars.

In the early 1900's in the United states the govt went into overdrive in creating 1000's of agencies to oversee every aspect of business , society, life. We need the same.

I want to ask, as we are paying some amount of debt every year. Is this $110 Billions inclusive or exclusive of those payments?

You have a current account deficit.
Generally our equation shall be balance. Debt shall not rise.

But

Trade deficit is increasing our debt.
