Ok since we are in the conspiracy theory mode lets try this. Maybe the ISI had KK eliminated because they actually believe what Hamid Mir has just said and got rid of a CIA operative?

Im pretty sure the authorities knew about KK quite well. Hamid Mir mentions other names who knew about KKs background so it wasnt a secret.
I am certain whoever killed KK didnt do it just because Hamid Mir forced or coerced them into doing so!!

well i do agree tht it happend not just coz hamid says it so, but i was against them who are blindly defending hamid mir and instead of qusioning hamid mir abt this they are labeling him patriot

and abt athourities knew it etc, then hamid shld have made us aware abt it through the plateform where he belongs to with pen or tv, why he hide it from us and telling it to those who sound in this tape as his kidnappers.

PTCL Asked to Clarify its Position Over Hamid Mirs Secret Tape

The mysterious and yet unknown group of militants Asian Tigers has demanded PTCL to clear its position on phone tape of Hamid Mir, allegedly in conversation with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan.
Last week a phone tape appeared on Internet[/URL], alleging Hamir Mir in conversation with a Punjabi Talib associate of Hakimullah Mehsud. In the tape, Mir is apparently discussing former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) official Mr. Khalid Khawaja, who was later killed by Asian Tigers[/URL] after holding him hostage for more than a month.
In response to an email on Press Pakistan[/URL], a Google group of journalists, Hamid Mir denied the factuality of the tape and posted email from Taliban, in which Taliban along with denial of this tape demanded PTCL to clarify it position.
Following is the excerpt:

If this happened again then PTCL should ready to get the most suitable answer in proper manner. Although we know how PTCL was sold to these culprits and Khwaja was also involed in that deal. Do you want to raise the curtain?
PTCl should clear its position in order to bring the facts if this tape is true or fake. If they claim it is a true tape then they also give explanation why they tape these calls. If this is the fake one then they also took legal actions against that agency.
If PTCL will not take any action then no problem, we are here and you have a very little time for confession. Take care.

30 percent of them are getting paid from one party or the other or Barray AbbaG - Army.
68 percent are worthless so no-one wants their services
2 percent are upright and honest like Tallat Hussain, Absar Alam, Zahid Hussain and a few more.

I agree with GeoG. Geo bhai bas hmain umeed ki koi choti si kiran bi nazar aa jaye to us kay peechay chal partay hain. soochta hoon shahid media koi change ley aaye. Hamid mir may be did many wrong things but he exposed musharraf and did good job in judiciary crises.
bas us ka ahsan yaaad ha. MQM aur PPP us kay khilaf propeganda kar rahay hain is liyea zara expose karnay ki koshish ki.

Really confusing stuff... I dont entirely trust Hamid Mir.... but I dont find anything suggesting that he is actually a CIA agent... But he has his roots very deep in the TTP.... Though I am confused about his accusations upon KK... and we dont have any means to counter check this....
