Ghaffar Khan with Mahatma Gandhi
Ghaffar Khan strongly opposed the partition of India.[4][5] While many Pashtuns (particularly the Khudai Khidmatgars) were willing to work with Indian politicians, many other Pashtuns were sympathetic to the idea of a separate homeland for India's Muslims following the departure of the British. Targeted with being Anti-Muslim, Ghaffar Khan was attacked in 1946, leading to his hospitalisation in Peshawar.[17]
The Congress party refused last-ditch compromises to prevent the partition, like the Cabinet Mission plan and Gandhi's suggestion to offer the Prime Ministership to Jinnah. As a result, Ghaffar Khan and his followers felt a sense of betrayal by both Pakistan and India. Ghaffar Khan's last words to Gandhi and his erstwhile allies in the Congress party were: "You have thrown us to the wolves."[6]
When the referendum over accession to Pakistan was held, Ghaffar Khan and the Indian National Congress Party boycotted the referendum. Despite the boycott, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa the vast majority of the people voted to join Pakistan. A loya jirga in the Tribal Areas also garnered a similar result as most preferred to become part of Pakistan. Ghaffar Khan and his Khudai Khidmatgars, however, chose to boycott the polls. Some have argued that a segment of the population voted was barred from voting.[18]

I think a political leader should be very careful in giving statements about anything. I don't know what he meant exactly by this statement, but still he shouldn't have given that statement which has got more than one meaning, because instead of talking about bringing Pakistan closer and intact he is breaking it apart. By the way this man rarely comes up with any rational statement. Someone has to give him a shut up call..

Achakzai should be tried for violation his oath
Afghanistan daily runs a front page cover of a statement allegedly made by Mahmood Khan Achakzai. If this statement is true, Mr. Achakzai should be tried for violation his oath of office to uphold and defend Pakistan's territorial sovereignty. KPK is not the personal real estate of Mr Achakzai which he can just "give" it away to the Afghans. It's quite evident where his loyalties truly lie. Pakistan Zindabad

I am Pushtoon and I am proud of Pakistan and being Pakistani. This man lives in dreamy world of 60s thinking that Pakistan is weak and his group can make KPK a part of Afghanistan.
But most importantly I am ashamed at the mentality and Pakistan-hating agenda of my some Punjabi brothers who support Mehmood Achakzai and his Boss Sharif family of PMLN.

Lekin jab hum charo taraf nazar dorraye aur koi kherkhuwah nazar na aaye tab majboran hamari aankhe achakzai jaise ledaran ki taraf ut jaati hai jo agar amli tor par nahi bhi karta kam az kam zulam k khilaf zabani awaz to uta raha hai

I told you about Leaders who are greedy and selfish,you see them but still keep asking questions, wate, power etc is all due to bad leadership. Bangladesheconomy is better due to hood leadership. Our searifucesvare 30,000 dead, 10,000 soldiers martyred. But still Pakistan is asked to do more while Bangladesh and Burma keep hanging and in Burma keep killing, what you say about that.
You only see bad in Pakistan, instead of seeing both good and bad. But if you see all bad than why don't you move to Bangladsh or better to zBurma.
