Just like PTI had faith in them until a year ago.
Establishment ki tareefein karte nahi thakte the.
Yehi to hamara qomi almiya he
We had faith that army is sincere with country.

PDM supporters have faith that army will crush us.

These are very different things.

PDM supporters may have the same argument that:

We (PDM) had faith that army is sincere with country.

PTI supporters have faith that army will crush us.

Apparently both PDM and PTI want army to crush their opponent. Whats the difference.

PTI went to people and people across the country supported It. PTI fought with dissidents and won its case with help of power of people.
Nawaz sharif on the other hand chose to run away .
This is what makes PTI different from PDM.

PMLN could say the same thing that "PMLN went to people and people across the country supported It. PMLN fought with dissidents and won its case with help of power of people."

Nawaz is not PMLN. He has no formal position in the party. SS is the president and he is here.
Not that i support PMLN in anyway. I think they are also fraud same as PTI but writing this just for the sake of argument.

Pmln can not say this because they didn’t fight with any dissidents ,rather they supported them as their own candidates and lost in elections. Pmln didn’t go to people but they took establishment’s help to restore their rule. This assembly that they are a part of is result of a legal yet extremely undemocratic procedure, which happened with help of establishment.

In case you forgot, this is the same assembly that elected imran as PM.

Why was it democratic when the allies supported PTI in 2018 but undemocratic when same allies supported PDM in 2022?

As for the lotas, pti is full of them just like all the other parties.

Because PTI is the largest party in country and in parliament, even if we minus dissidents or potential dissidents. The democratic principal is that the largest party should make government ( because it represents the largest fraction of people). PDM is bizarre collection of 13 political parties. But this could have been worse!

In another scenario 172 different political parties could have come together to make a government, legally but against the spirit of democracy.

Where did you find that principle, i wonder?
In democracy you do not need larger party to rule, you need majority seats. It does not matter how many parties are there in the coalition. It is democracy 101

This kind of political fragmentation is not democratic, because the democracy is rule of majority( without ignoring the minority). The majority seats that have resulted in formation of a government have no natural cohesion .so it’s not stable.
. They are together because of establishment, and probably some personal gains, but this can fall apart at anytime.
The purpose of whole electoral exercise is not to create an unstable patchwork arrangement .
Purpose of democracy and political activity is not to create a circus in parliament. People vote for party manifesto, because it represents their ideas better . A political party which represents majority of people rules the country.

it is really interesting to see how you are looking at everything one sided.
The exact same can be said about PTI.
For example,
They are together because of establishment, and probably some personal gains, but this can fall apart at anytime.

it is the same for PDM as it was PTI.
same parties first joined pti when establishment was on that side and now changed their side to pdm after establishment became neutral.

think about it again. is there really any difference

Most of the Pakistanis actually started following politics after Panama. It’s difficult for them to understand basic rules of democracy.
